Performance Opportunities

Our studio participates in a variety of performance events throughout the course of the year.  Students of all ages and ability levels have the opportunity to participate in formal recitals and festivals, as well as fun, informal community performances.   There’s an event on this list for everyone! Students are eligible to participate in events sponsored by the Kansas City Music Teachers Association (KCMTA), the Olathe Music Teachers Association (OMTA) and the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) in addition to events hosted by our private studio.

OMTA Halloween Recital

Our studio will partner with another studio from the Olathe area to present an informal recital of autumn and Halloween-themed music at a local nursing home.  Students are encouraged to come in costume, and usually have the opportunity to “trick-or-treat” through the commons area after the recital!  All elementary students are welcome to participate in this event – even new beginners.
